Vintage Jewelry should never be thought of as costume jewelry. From the late 1700′s right up through the 1950′s and early 60′s, but especially diring the 1930′s through the 1940′s, jewelry was made with the finest of materials that could be had.Good and timeless base metals such as copper, pewter, and rhodium were the norm with all jewelry makers.
